Helen was the first and only boutique I went to as I knew that she had the style I was looking for. I think it was the 2nd gown I tried on, and as soon as I saw it, I knew it was the perfect dress for me! I always wanted a timeless dress that I would be able to look back at in 20 years and still be just as obsessed with.

I was instantly drawn to Helen’s range and eye for designers who were fashion first, bridal second. I have long admired Monique Lhuillier; the queen of lace, and Helen’s relationship with her was the ultimate calling.

Helen really is excellent at what she does! From the initial meeting to everything that followed Helen was a delight. She made me feel at ease and shared her wealth of knowledge with me. I could not recommend her enough!

The process of getting a dress made from scratch wasn’t for me. I’ve always been a lover of high fashion, even working as a personal shopper and stylist when I lived in London; and I always wanted my dress to be the creation of an esteemed designer. Before I even had a boyfriend, I knew I would find my eventual wedding dress at HRB. Helen has the most incredible and most thoughtfully curated selection of top end gowns – it was a no brainer.

I wanted a really timeless, elegant and classic gown. I had actually been eyeing this one off since before my engagement!

Every moment and every detail was nothing but a dream. The service, the attention to detail and the kindness and dedication you receive whenever you are in the shop is unlike anywhere else.

Helen made me feel special from the very first time I met her. I fell in love with her shop when my sister got married years ago. I couldn’t wait until the day would come that I would get to have an experience as extraordinary as hers. Helen made my dream dress come true. We combined two beautiful dresses by Inbal Dror, which I presumed would be impossible, however she knew what I was after and from that moment on it was a breeze as it was in her trusty hands.

I’ve always admired the architecture in Elie Saab’s designs and some of the exceptional women that have been drawn to wearing them throughout history - I was looking for something elegant but modern, that suited my shape.

I had my eye on this specific gown from Elie Saab for a while however wanted to try on a few different styles to make sure I had picked the right one. Having multiple world-renowned bridal designers and various styles in the store allowed me to try on an array of dresses to help me make up my mind. The moment I saw myself in this dress I knew it was the one.

Both Helen and Sophie treat you like you are part of their family. From the first appointment walking into the shop, it felt like I was walking into home. You are at ease, you don’t feel overwhelmed, you don’t feel rushed to make any decisions and you automatically trust their expertise and knowledge. I think what sets Helen apart is, she genuinely is on this personal experience with you the entire way. She gets to know her brides, she makes every appointment so memorable and personal, you just want to stay in the shop for longer to chat!

Even before my appointment at HRB, I knew my experience here would be different. Helen took the time to call me before my appointment to get a sense of me and my personality. I really appreciated this because my appointment time was used really effectively. She was very accommodating of having my 3 bridesmaids and both parents in the boutique (quite a boisterous crowd!) and was professional, gorgeous and incredibly organised.

My experience with Helen was excellent from start to finish! Having heard horror stories from other brides who had purchased their dresses elsewhere, I was worried that my dress, which was coming from Israel, might not arrive on time due to COVID delays. Helen and her team were responsive to my emails and calls and assured me that I had nothing to worry about and my dress would arrive on time. Fair to say, they were true to their word and my dress arrived in advance of my wedding day! Helen is down to earth, personable, had strong attention to detail and made me feel confident in all decisions I made. I could not recommend Helen and her team highly enough!
