How They Met
George and I met when we were only in High School at my best friend’s Sweet 16 birthday party! We’ve grown together since and I feel so lucky that I now get to call him my husband.
The Proposal
Since we met George and I loved going on picnics and enjoying the sun while spending quality time together. He planned the most incredible proposal ‘paint and sip’ picnic at our favourite picnic spot, where he painted “will you marry me” on the canvas!
Wedding Day Vision
I wanted my wedding to be timeless, classic and simple. I wanted to be able to look back at my wedding in 10-20 years and still love every detail and Helen and her team certainly helped make that happen!
Wedding Inspiration
Instagram! I have been saving wedding gowns in a folder on Instagram for years and opened it when I got engaged and started thinking about my dress. So many incredible designers post their work and it is the perfect space to see so many unique designs and styles!

Biggest Decision
Picking my dress was the biggest decision I made. It is something so many young girls dream of their whole lives, and making that final decision can be stressful.
Wedding Day Highlight
The highlight of my wedding day was definitely walking down the aisle to George at the church we got married in. It was such a surreal feeling and truly a moment I’ll remember forever. Another special highlight was getting my makeup done by my sister in the morning Scarlet K Artistry. It was such a nice moment I got to share with my older sister, and one I’ll always cherish.
What would she change?
Looking back I am so happy with how our wedding day turned out. I can’t imagine changing a single detail of the day! The only thing I would do differently would be taking time to slow down throughout the day and try to take in every moment because it really does go by so quickly.
