How They Met
We first met when Ross was my tennis coach, and occasional math’s tutor, a long long time ago (2002). We ran into each other several times over the next 10 years or so, but we reconnected when I persisted with liking Ross’ Instagram posts and commenting on his Strava bike rides (he was oblivious and a bit hopeless to realise the intent). After a few months had passed, I messaged Ross on Instagram asking if he’d like to join me for a bike ride and vino. The rest is history!
The Proposal
Ross proposed to me in the living room of our home with a gorgeous arrangement of flowers, balloons and tennis balls asking “Marry Me?” - cute and corny given the circumstances of how we met. Ross had gone to so much effort and the proposal was a complete surprise. My sister was hiding in one of our spare bedrooms and managed to sneakily film the whole thing. To celebrate, Ross and I went out to dinner at the Boat House, which turned out to be an incredibly special spot as it was the same restaurant he had taken my parents and sister to lunch 6 weeks prior to let them know he would soon be proposing.
