How did you and your husband meet?
We met at school…high school sweethearts!
How did he propose?
Jared proposed on our 9-year anniversary. We came home from dinner and our apartment was set up with beautiful floral arrangements, lots of photos filled with special memories, and 9 handwritten cards. Once I read the last card, he proposed!
What was your vision for your wedding day?
Classic, romantic, regal
Where did you look for your wedding inspiration?
Pinterest and Instagram
What drew you to your gown from Helen Rodrigues Bridal?
I felt like a princess!!!
What was your wedding planning journey like for you? How far out did you start planning?
The journey was special and fun, challenging yet rewarding. We started planning 10 months before the wedding. We are so grateful to the BNT team, they transformed our vision into reality.
What was the biggest decision you had to make?
It rained the morning of the wedding, so we had to make a call about whether the ceremony would continue to take place outdoors or move indoors. Luckily the weather prevailed, and we had a beautiful outdoor ceremony.
What was the highlight of your wedding day for you?
The overall energy and love in the room was pure magic. The entire day was a dream, and each moment was a highlight – I honestly can’t choose one!
Music and entertainment was incredible – The strings, the singer from Israel, the band from Paris and the DJ. The food was unique and lavish. The décor and flowers transformed the atmosphere of the marquee.
The speeches were heartfelt. The dance floor was buzzing all night!
Is there anything you would do differently?
Everything was as perfect as I hoped. We, and our family and friends, had so much fun.
If I have to be picky - I would have reduced the amount of flowers on the chuppah structure as it blocked some guests view of us during the ceremony. I would have also liked more time to wander to all the tables and speak to our family and friends. I also would have prioritised more time to eat and try all the food, but we didn’t leave the dance floor!
Is there any advice you would give other #HRBride’s?
Be present and embrace every moment on the day of your wedding.
